GLOBAL EDUCATION LEADERS’ PARTNERSHIP 2019

The Global Education Leaders Partnership (GELP), in association with MIFRAS (Educational Entrepreneurship Incubator) and the Lautman Foundation in Israel hosted the 15th international convening of world-class education leaders, to discuss how they can work towards transforming their education systems, so that every learner develops the skills, knowledge and dispositions they need to survive and thrive in the 21st century.

Vishal Talreja was one of the world-class education leaders, at the convening and he made a case for children growing up in adversity, by saying, “There are large parts of the world, including developed countries, where there are children growing up in adversity, exposed to lack of food and nutrition, neglect, extreme poverty and displacement. When any of these circumstances are present in the lives of children, it impacts their ability to achieve developmental milestones at the right age. In the environments we’re creating for our children today, educational systems need to recognize this. Where children fail to thrive, they won’t be able to access high-quality learning environments.”

GLOBAL EDUCATION & SKILLS FORUM 2019

Vishal Talreja and Chinnapa Das travelled to Dubai on the 23rd and 24th March this year to participate at the Global Education & Skills Forum (GESF). The GESF brought together leaders from the public, private and social sectors to seek solutions to achieve education, equity and employment for all. More than 2000 delegates gathered to share, debate and shape new ways for education to transform our world.
