Vishal Talreja comes with deep grassroots level experience of working with children and young people for over 17 years. A passionate dreamer and believer in the inherent potential of each child, Vishal is a bundle of infectious energy. He is a Ashoka Fellow and Eisenhower Fellow, and he sits on boards of Unltd India and India Cares Foundation. He is an avid blogger, writer of poetry and mentor to young social entrepreneurs.

Suchetha comes with over 9 years of extensive corporate experience and has been working with Dream a Dream for 4 years now. She brings with her expertise in organizational design, management, strategy and planning. She is a reflective and deep thinker, and is currently spearheading the scale strategy at Dream a Dream.

Ramanan comes with over 30 years of experience in different capacities, with the major part of his career having been in the field of Training and Development. In his last tenure, he was the Associate Director of GSS Learning & Development at EY. He has also worked for Oracle, American Express, Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd. among others. Ramanan has since quit the corporate sector and works for Dream a Dream full time.

Board

The Board of Dream-a-Dream is the organisation’s legal representative. It is primarily involved in setting the direction for the organisation, providing policy guidelines, mentoring, monitoring and evaluating its work. The Board meets at least once every quarter.

Deepak Srinath

Deepak comes with 16+ years of management and entrepreneurial experience in technology and investment banking. He is the Co-Founder of Phantom Hands, an online commerce platform for antiques and vintage collectibles. Deepak completed his MBA from Manchester Business School and a BE in computer science from The National Institute of Engineering, Mysore.

Pervin Varma

Pervin Varma started her career in advertising working with Lintas India (now Lowe) for 3 years before moving to CRY (Child Rights and You) in 1990. In 1998, she was appointed CEO and headed CRY till she left in 2004. Since then, she has been a consultant within the development sector. Pervin serves as a trustee on the boards of CRY, Citizens for Peace (CFP) and Zensar Foundation, and is a member of the Advisory Board of Pratham Books.

Dr. David Pearson

Dr. David Pearson is a consultant clinical psychologist specializing in child and adolescence services, based in the UK. He has had a life-long career in National Health Service hospitals, both providing and managing services. Alongside his clinical role, Dr. Pearson has maintained an enthusiastic interest in research, publishing in a wide range of international journals covering areas such as child hallucinations, hyperactivity and developmental issues.Together with Dr Fiona Kennedy, David has edited a mental health textbook which was published by Routledge in a number of countries.

Dr. Fiona C Kennedy

Dr. Kennedy, consultant clinical psychologist, is a specialist in adult mental health and learning disability. She has a particular interest in the effects of childhood trauma, neglect and deprivation on emotions and behaviour. Her professional work has focused on teaching people with these kind of life experiences, self-regulation and life skills. During a 25 year career in the UK at the NHS, developing and heading up psychology services, she received awards from both private healthcare and public bodies. She now runs her own business, providing training, supervision and coaching for mental health professionals and businesses.

Dr. Vivek Mansingh

Dr. Vivek Mansingh is currently Chairman of AxisCades, India’s leading integrated engineering services company. Previously, he was the Vice President of Cisco Systems – India. He began his career as a Senior Scientist with technology giant Hewlett Packard in California. In 1997, he founded ATTI, where he held the role of Founder & CEO. Aavid was listed in Fortune magazine’s 100 fastest growing companies in USA, 1999, with revenue of over $350 million / year. Dr. Mansingh was listed as honoured professional in “National Who’s Who for the United States” in 2000 and holds six patents in his name.
